I was about three driveways from home last night when I ran over something in the road...right away I knew I had popped a hole in my tire. It was late and I knew I would have to wait till morning to call road side assistance. The guy arrives in the morning and immediately informs me that my brand new 2012 Accent does not have a spare tire..WTH??? So I had to have my brand new car towed to the dealer. My car was towed around 8:30am, and around 10 I called over to the dealership to see if my car was done, they said that they would have it done after lunch. A few hours later after not hearing back I called once again and was told the "Fix a flat wouldn't hold" so they would have to replace the tire..again WTH??? Thankfully we had purchased the Wheel and tire package; which would cover the cost of the new tire. I then asked if my car would be done today, and they said probably not. They do not carry the tires for that model at the dealership...again WTH??? I then explained that I had to go to work around three and would need a loaner, and was told that a loaner would not be provided...again WTH???
Why the hell would you sell a brand new vehicle without a spare tire?
And if you are not providing a spare tire...why would you not provide a loaner car while the vehicle is being serviced??
Do they not realize that their customers do need to get to work, and if the vehicle is not going to be ready in time a loaner car will be needed to get their customer to work?!
